About Stakes4You
A small Irish supplier that does one thing: stakes, in the sizes and materials the job actually needs.
Stakes4You was established in 2026 and trades from a yard at Unit 7, Kilcarbery Business Park, Nangor Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22. We supply timber tree stakes, recycled plastic fence posts, tree shelters and tree guards to growers, farmers, landscapers, tree surgeons, foresters and gardeners across the Republic of Ireland.
Why a business that only sells stakes
Stakes are usually an afterthought. They sit at the bottom of a builders' providers order, they are bought on price, and nobody looks at them again until a row of new trees is leaning into a ditch after the first winter storm. That is a small item causing an expensive problem, and it is nearly always avoidable by choosing a correct size and a correct material at the outset.
So we narrowed down. We hold twelve lines rather than two hundred, we know what each one is for, and we can tell you in a sentence whether a 25mm stake will do or whether you need the 32mm. There is no upsell in it for us either way — the difference is a few euro a pack.
What we stock, and why
- Treated timber. Still the default for tree planting and agricultural fencing. Ours is pressure treated and machine pointed, because a sawn-off flat end splits when you drive it.
- Recycled plastic. For wet ground, watercourses and heavily grazed paddocks, where timber has a short and unhappy life. Made from recycled polymer and guaranteed for twenty years.
- Tree shelters. Twin-wall tubes and biodegradable sleeves, for keeping browsing animals off a young tree through the years when it cannot take the damage.
- Guards and protectors. Spiral guards for the bark of an established stem, and recycled plastic surrounds that keep mowers and strimmers away from the collar.
How we work
Prices on this site are per pack or per unit and include Irish VAT at 23%. Bulk and pallet rates are keener, and we quote those directly — send a quantity and a county and you will usually have a delivered price back the same working day.
We confirm every order by phone or email before taking payment. That takes a minute longer than a checkout button, but it means we catch the orders where the customer has asked for a 900mm stake and a 1.2m shelter, which happens more often than you would think.
Where we deliver
All 26 counties of the Republic of Ireland, on a pallet network for larger orders and by courier for packs and bundles. Collection from the Dublin 22 yard is welcome during opening hours, Mon-Fri 8.00-17.30, Sat 9.00-13.00. Full detail is on the delivery and returns page.
