1. Who you are dealing with
These terms apply to all quotations and sales by Stakes4You, Unit 7, Kilcarbery Business Park, Nangor Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, D22 XH70, Ireland ("we", "us"). Contracts are governed by the laws of Ireland and are subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
2. Prices and quotations
Prices shown on this website are in euro and include Irish VAT at the standard rate of 23% unless stated otherwise. Ex-VAT prices are shown alongside on product pages. Delivery is charged separately unless the order qualifies for free delivery as set out on our delivery page.
We aim to keep prices accurate but they may change without notice, and timber and plastic prices in particular move with the market. A written quotation from us is valid for 14 days. Where an obvious pricing error appears on the site we will contact you before processing an order rather than supply at the wrong price.
3. How a contract is formed
Nothing on this website is an offer to sell. When you send an enquiry or place an order we issue a written quotation or order confirmation; a contract is formed when you accept that confirmation in writing and, where applicable, payment has been received or an account limit is available.
4. Product descriptions
Dimensions given are nominal. Timber is a natural material subject to variation in colour, knot content and moisture, and sawn sizes carry normal manufacturing tolerances. Product photography is supplied by our manufacturers and is indicative of type, not of exact appearance. Treatment retention figures relate to the process used by our treatment plant and are not a guarantee of service life in every situation.
5. Payment
Unless you hold an approved credit account, payment in full is due before dispatch, by bank transfer or card. Approved account customers pay within 30 days of the invoice date. We reserve the right to charge interest on late payment in accordance with the European Communities (Late Payment in Commercial Transactions) Regulations. Goods remain our property until paid for in full.
6. Delivery
Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith and are not of the essence of the contract. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, weather or other matters outside our reasonable control. Someone must be available to receive and unload the goods at the delivery address; heavy pallet orders require reasonable vehicle access. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection.
7. Cancellation and returns

8. Liability
We are responsible for supplying goods that match their description and are of merchantable quality. We are not liable for loss arising from incorrect installation, from use of a product outside its stated purpose, or from ground conditions and weather. Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law, our total liability in respect of any order is limited to the price paid for the goods concerned. Nothing in these terms affects the statutory rights of a consumer.
9. Intellectual property
The text, illustrations, layout and code of this website are our own original work and are protected by copyright. You may not copy or republish them without our written permission. All product names used on this site are generic descriptions of the goods supplied.
10. Website use
We take reasonable care to keep this site available, accurate and free of malicious code, but we do not warrant uninterrupted availability. This site hosts no user-generated content and no third-party advertising. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or use it in any unlawful way.
